Song #2 is up!
I"m singing a song called "The Moon is Down" by Radical Face. The song is written from the perspective of a man in love with his neighbor. I am a sucker for a good story song, but this one is paticularly admirable for it's ability to be specific, while also maintaining simplicity. It's not very long, but a detailed story arc for the character is still very present. This simplicity allows the song to be malleable, instead of being contingent on following the story. The words are beautiful on their own, as well as in the context of the narrative. I hope you enjoy my interpretation. A link to the original recording is in the video description.
